After many years of working in Five Star Deluxe hotels in London and Hong Kong including the Shangri-La and Dorchester, Roger and Helen Wynn purchased the Wilton Court in May 2000. Merton House is a holiday hotel for older citizens and disabled people. At an additional cost Merton Merton House can provide a door to door transport service having specially adapted vehicles to accommodate wheelchairs. The Hotel has twenty bedrooms with the rooms in the main house fully en-suite with bedrooms on the ground floor wing being ideally suited for wheelchair access. These rooms are part en-suite, having a w.c. and wash basin, some have patio doors giving access onto the garden. Specially adapted bath/shower facilities are provided on the ground floor, with easy access for wheelchairs and walking frames.
