The hotel makes an ideal base for visiting Hampton Court Palace, Windsor Castle, Legoland Windsor, Thorpe Park, Richmond-upon-Thames, the central London sights and, in the summer months, Thames cruises from Kew pier, just adjacent to Kew Bridge. Kew Gardens tube station, on the District Line, is an 8 minute walk, as is Kew Bridge overground station, with a regular service to London Waterloo. Recently refurbished to the highest standard, the hotel has 31 en suite air-conditioned bedrooms, some specially designed for guests with disabilities and families. All of the rooms are now non-smoking. The traditional bar, with open fire in the winter, serves a wonderful selection of food and a wide range of Young's award-winning real ales and fine wines.
