On the ancient Market Square of the 'Gateway to Wensleydale', the Golden Lion is a traditional family hotel with an excellent range of modern facilities. A well-located base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Golden Lion has 15 en-suite rooms and a restaurant with extensive menus. There is a lift to all floors, and many rooms have been specially adapted for disabled guests. The Hotel is noted for its freshly prepared food of local origin.
